500×1000mm Stage Rental LED Screen with IP65 Front Rating and High-Precision Curved Lock for Outdoor Rental LED Display

The 500*1000mm outdoor rental LED cabinet is a 1.64*3.28ft die-cast panel engineered to build large LED video walls for events. It halves the cabinet count versus 500*500mm panels, supports curved locking for creative stage shapes, and its IP65 front rating allows reliable outdoor use in rain and dust.

A 500*1000mm cabinet is exactly two 500*500mm cabinets stacked. Because the locking geometry, module layout and connector positions are shared, you can run a 500*1000 wall, a 500*500 wall, or a hybrid of both on the same job. That means:

• Fewer cabinets per square metre. A 20m² screen needs roughly half the cabinet count of a 500*500 build, so rigging weight, packing volume and crew time all drop.
• Any finished size. Odd heights that a pure 1000mm grid cannot hit are solved by dropping in 500*500 units at the top or bottom row.
• One spare-parts pool. A single module and cabinet SKU covers the whole fleet, which simplifies tour logistics and depot stock.

The cabinet-to-cabinet curved lock replaces spanner-and-angle-block adjustment. Operators rotate the lock to dial the curve degree, and the angle is held mechanically without tools.

• Adjust curve degree on site during load-in, not in the workshop.
• Consistent arc across a full wall, because every cabinet uses the same indexed lock.
• Straight walls and curved walls come from the same cabinet — no dedicated curved inventory.
• Typical curve range: ±10° per cabinet seam, giving a minimum radius of about 2.5m for concave and convex builds.

Use it for curved stage backdrops, wrap-around booth walls, ribbon-shaped set design and immersive tunnel entrances.

The front face carries an IP65 rating: dust-tight (no dust ingress at all) and protected against water jets from any direction. In practice that covers:

• Rain, drizzle and wind-driven spray during an outdoor show
• Dust, sand and grit on festival and desert sites
• Washdown cleaning between events
• UV and temperature cycling across a full outdoor season

Pixel pitch sets the minimum viewing distance. A working rule of thumb across the rental industry:

Minimum comfortable viewing distance (metres) ≈ pixel pitch (mm) * 1 to 1.5
